My Story

As a Baltimore native, I have always been driven by a passion for mentorship, youth development, and the transformative power of athletics.

​

I attended The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland before earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bucknell University. During my time at Bucknell, I discovered a love for competitive cheerleading, competing twice at NCA Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida, and serving as captain of the team for two consecutive years. Cheerleading not only strengthened my leadership skills but also deepened my understanding of discipline, teamwork, and the impact of positive peer influence.

My interest in youth mentorship began early, working in afterschool programs throughout high school. Those formative experiences guided me toward the study of psychology and a career focused on empowering the next generation. After college, I continued working with youth as the Director of Summer Camps at Roland Park Country School, where I gained further insight into how structured activities and intentional mentorship can shape a child's personal and social development.

These experiences ultimately led me to establish Xcellence Athletics — a program rooted in the belief that young adults can serve as powerful role models for children. By creating opportunities for mentorship through athletics, Xcellence fosters leadership, accountability, and meaningful relationships that extend far beyond the field. My goal is to help young people realize their potential — as athletes, leaders, and individuals — while building a community grounded in confidence, character, and of course, Xcellence.
